As part of the RSCM 2017 Summer School, the Director, Malcolm Archer, will give an organ concert  awhich is open to the general public as well as RSCM attendees.

Malcolm Archer has a distinguished and worldwide reputation as a choral and orchestral conductor, organ recitalist, teacher and as a composer and editor. He has worked at Norwich, Bristol and Wells Cathedrals, St Paul’s Cathedral and is currently Director of Chapel Music at Winchester College in England.

As a composer his music is widely performed and his compositions have gained a special place in the repertoire for their strength, liturgical aptness and accessibility. He is a fellow of the RSCM, awarded for his work as a composer of church music, as well as his leader-ship in cathedral music.

Malcolm Archer has appeared as an organist in Europe, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. In Adelaide he will be presenting an organ recital at Wesley Kent Town Uniting Church, choosing from a repertoire that encompasses Bach to Messiaen and beyond.
